If you have a Chinese scoot and need help call us. They can be difficult to get parts for but not impossible. Depending on your issue we should be able to get you back on the road in most cases fairly easily. Based on the poor reliablity we have seen its likely that you will not be on the road for very long so when you get here please do not be offended when we ask you to buy a quality Piaggio product.

1964 Allstate project:

Ebay purchase for $700 bucks with clean title. Complete bike but mostly in boxes. The idea was not to do a complete frame down perfect paint job resto here. This bike is going to be ridden and budget was a concern.  If you wanted a full restoration and were willing to pay for the time and most expensively the paint and body work (which was not the goal on this project) you could spend anywhere from 3500 on up to... well use your imagination. Thats in addition to the initial investment of the bike (scooter for those real die hard scooterists.)

BEFORE:

AFTER

Started life as a red 125 and now its Rat Rod Black. Much cooler.

Above bike on the lift waiting for whats below. Now a 166cc. Bolt on big bore kit, still a 2 port motor. Yes it will still be somewhat slow but more rideable then the original 125 which was retained for putting back to stock someday (not likely).

Engine in the custom engine stand made from an old bedframe. Made to run on the stand off the bike.

VNB tail light to replace the very boring Allstate tail light as well as the new spare tire cover to show off the sweet a$$ tire and rim combo.

Floor rail kit done as period correct with original style rivets rather then pop rivets which don't hold as well as the original style. Done properly with the correct tools it is NOT a 20 hour job as seen on some vintage sites. These rivets took just over an hour and a half and look better then many of the period correct restorations that we have seen. Nice and flat on the underside. The thing that takes the longest is shaping the rails to fit your floor.

Original gas tank which was badly scaled. Electrolysis performed to remove rust then the tank was resealed and should last another 40 years.

1965 Vespa 125...Dads project scoot.

BEFORE... (current state)

Very solid frame and complete bike. Purchased for $625 bucks. Ugly paint which will be stripped.

Engine turns over but will be competely rebuilt with new seals and bearings.
